This is the second major expulsion of a top CPI-M leader of West Bengal within a month.
Kolkata: The CPI-M on Friday expelled leader Lakshman Seth for anti-party activity. Seth was expelled after he praised Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee for her courage and also accused the party's top leadership of conspiring to throw him out.
This is the second major expulsion of a top CPI-M leader of West Bengal within a month.
The party had recently expelled Abdur Rezzak Mollah on similar grounds.
