151. Kherwara is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Udaipur (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Kherwara falls in Udaipur district and South region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,68,209 voters in the seat, which includes 1,36,479 male voters, and 1,31,730 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Kherwara recorded a voter turnout of %. In 2013 the turnout was 73.36%, and in 2008 it was 65.7%.
In 2013, Nana Lal Ahari of BJP won the seat by a margin of 11,166 votes (6.49%). Nana Lal Ahari secured 49.3% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 14,757 votes (10.78%), registering 50.2% of the total votes polled.
