New Delhi: Not missing any opportunity to hit out at the Modi government, Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra said that with the start of the Monsoon session of Parliament the government's diversionary tactics are being displayed.
He attacked the ruling NDA government by saying that he regrets to see India being governed by such leaders.
In a Facebook post, Vadra said, "Parliament begins and so do their petty diversion political tactics... People of India are not fooled. Regret to see India led by such so called leaders!!"
The Monsoon session began on a stormy note with the Congress taking on the government on the Lalit Modi row. While External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj admitted to having no objection to former Indian Premier League chief Lalit Modi's travel request, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje allegedly helped Lalit Modi to get UK stay permit.
The Congress is adamant on its demand for resignations of Swaraj and Raje in the controversy.
The Congress is also set to corner the government on the multi-crore Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh in which at least 49 people have died.
