Modi plays safe, says Varun matter be decided by court
Modi avoids expressing opinions on Varun Gandhi's alleged hate-speech.

New Delhi: It seems that the Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi doesn't want to associate himself with views of the Sangh's new posterboy. Modi leaves it to the court to decide Varun Gandhi's future. He said this while speaking to CNN-IBN's Suhasini Haidar.

Suhasini Haidar: You've been silent on Varun Gandhi's CDs. In the CDs Varun is seen speaking about one Samaaj, his Samaaj.

Narendra Modi: My party has made its stand clear on Varun Gandhi. The matter is in the Court now. The Court will decide on Varun's future.

Suhasini Haidar: But many have said that he seems to have modelled himself on you. Many call him the junior Modi.

Narendra Modi: How can I comment on what the news traders say and what my critics say? This is not what your viewers want from you. I know what the viewers want as I have a more direct contact with them.

What's your reaction?
