Puducherry Ministry to be expanded

New Delhi: The Puducherry Ministry is being expanded on Sunday with the induction of Congress legislator M Kandasamy in the 13-month old Rangasamy government.

Kandasamy will be sworn in as a Minister by Lieutenant Governor Mukut Mithi at the Raj Nivas, official sources said on Saturday.

With Kandasamy’s induction in the Ministry, who was elected from Bahoor Reserved constituency, the strength of the body would go up to six.

With the induction, Kandasamy would fill the vacancy that was left when former welfare minister P Angalane resigned last October following certain allegations against him.
