Medininagar (Jharkhand): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday advocated formation of same party governments at the Centre and state level for better coordination.
"Installation of the same party government at both the Centre and state is necessary to maintain coordination and achieve the desired result," he said.
Singh was addressing an election meeting at Hydernagar High School in support of party candidate Kameshwar Kushwaha Singh from Hussainabad constituency.
He expressed confidence that people of both Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand would vote for BJP to give impetus to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's endeavour for development.
Singh said development of mineral-rich Jharkhand remained stagnant ever since it was carved out of Bihar 14 years ago and that his party was committed to developing the state.
Jharkhand is going for a five-phase election with the first phase scheduled on November 25.
