The RLD leader also said that corruption and hypocrisy have become a by-product of democracy.
New Delhi: RLD MP Jayant Choudhury demanded for an independent cadre for CBI officers while taking part in the Lokpal debate in the Lok Sabha.
"We are saying that the CBI should be independent, but I feel the question is one of making it stronger, of improving the agency's conviction rate. We should think of creating an independent cadre of officers for CBI," Choudhury said.
The RLD leader also said that corruption and hypocrisy have become a by-product of democracy.
