The Sena move came after a man boarded the ladies' compartment of a Western suburban local train and tried to molest a woman in on Saturday morning.
"Not only the railway police, but also the manager of that respective station is equally responsible for the incident," Gorhe said. Safety of women on local trains is the joint duty of the central and state governments, she said.
The issue will be discussed in the Legislative Council on Tuesday, she said.
