It also questioned the actor that if he believes India is not fit to live, which country does he want to move to.

Actor Aamir Khan is facing severe criticism after his remarks over intolerance in India. Hitting out at the actor, Shiv Sena in its mouthpiece Saamna said that it's ungrateful on Aamir Khan's part to call India intolerant.

Calling him 'Ranchordas' Aamir Khan, one who leaves the fight mid-way, Sena said, "he made a movie like PK criticising Hindu religious figures and released it, yet he believes India is intolerant. Aamir appears like a hero in shows like Satyamev Jayate and then says he wants to leave the country."

It also questioned the actor that if he believes India is not fit to live, which country does he want to move to.

Sena in 'Saaamna' also praised Dilip Kumar saying that despite him being heavily criticised when he was given Pakistan highest civilian honour - 'nishane Pakistan', Dilip Kumar never said there is intolerance in India and that he wants to leave the country.

Shiv Sena minister in BJP-led Maharashtra government Ramdas Kadam had on Tuesday also said that Aamir Khan "can go to Pakistan" if he didn't love India and that people such as Aamir and Shah Rukh were like "snakes", considering their statements.

Senior Shiv Sena leader and the state Environment Minister was responding when asked about Aamir Khan's statement that his wife Kiran Rao was afraid to live in India due to rising intolerance and suggested they move out of the country.

Hindu Sena activists also protested outside the Bollywood superstar's residence in suburban Bandra on Tuesday. At least seven activists of the Hindu Sena gathered outside the residence of Aamir at Pali Hill around 4 PM and tried to stage a protest, DCP (Detection) Dhananjay Kulkarni said. One of them was heard saying Aamir should take back his statements and apologise as India is a tolerant country.

Khan had on Monday said he was "alarmed" by a number of incidents and his wife Kiran Rao even suggested that they should leave the country considering growing intolerance. Also, the 50-year-old actor supported those returning their awards, saying one of the ways for creative people to express their dissatisfaction or disappointment is to return their awards.

Khan said he also felt that the sense of insecurity and fear has been growing in the past six or eight months. He was speaking at the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards ceremony in Delhi.
