New Delhi: The revolt among Congress leaders seems to be growing after the party's decision on a separate state of Telangana. Seven Seemandhra Congress MPs have tendered their resignations to the Speaker even as the party tries to control the damage.

Seemandhra leaders are expected to meet the Home Minister on Saturday. Union HRD Minister Pallam Raju too has offered to resign.

Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh, the party's Andhra in-charge, met Raju and other ministers and said a committee has been set up to look into their concerns. The Congress high command has also sent two emissaries to Hyderabad to take stock of the situation.

Meanwhile, many areas of Seemandhra continue to observe a bandh. The situation, though, remains calm.

What's your reaction?
