Sai Dharam Tej is one of the most popular young actors in the Telugu film industry. The actor has worked in some of the most popular films and has garnered a lot of love for his acting abilities. His recent films, like Virupkasha and Bro: The Avatar, were well-received by the audience. As Christmas week saw a major clash at the box office between Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and Prabhas’ Salaar Part 1: The Ceasefire, Sai Dharam Tej expressed his views on it and called it a win for Indian cinema. He has also talked about the progress that Telugu cinema has made in recent years.
Recently, Sai Dharam Tej posted a picture on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) and expressed himself about the clash between Dunki and Salaar. In the post, he wrote, “It feels so proud and fantastic looking back at the long way Telugu cinema has come. With #Salaar making our equal presence felt alongside a Hindi film #Dunki and a Hollywood film #Aquaman, it is a marvellous feat that we were hoping to achieve a long time ago, and it’s come to life today. Three magnificent industries are coming together on the same day to deliver us an immeasurable cinematic experience that feels surreal. The borders are now even more blurred, and collectively, CINEMA IS STANDING TALL today.”

Sai Dharam Tej also expressed his best wishes to Shah Rukh Khan for delivering three consecutive successes, with Dunki being the latest addition. He also showed his love and extended his wishes to his ‘Prabhas Anna’ as well.
Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki was released in theatres on December 21. It received a great response on its opening day. It is his third film of 2023 after Pathaan and Jawan, both getting the status of all-time blockbusters. On the other hand, Prabhas’ highly anticipated film with Prashanth Neel, Salaar Part 1: The Ceasefire, is hitting theatres on December 22. There has been a lot of hype for the project, and the booking of the film has done quite well.
