Google Could Follow Apple’s Design Style For The Next Pixel Phones: All Details
Google Pixel 9 Pro will be launching in 2024 and here's our first look at the possible design of the new Pixel flagship phone.

Google Pixel 9 series will be launching in 2024 and while there is a long time before that happens, the leak-o-sphere has started doing its work. The new Pixel 9 Pro design has leaked on the internet courtesy a reliable tipster which suggests Google is ready to shave off the curves and switch to a flat display for its next Pixel flagship.

The current Pixel 8 Pro model has curved edges which gives it a firm and comfortable grip. But it seems the company is now looking to follow Apple’s design style that we saw with the iPhone 15 series last year. The leaks via OnLeaks of the Pixel 9 Pro suggests the phone will have a flat display as well as the frame along with the edges.

Even the back of the phone could have a flat design which is a step away from the current focus from Google. That’s not all, it is pointed out that the Pixel 9 Pro could get a 6.5-inch display which will be drastically smaller than the iPhone Pro Max variants and even the Pixel’s predecessor.

The camera module sees a minor tweak but the bar will seemingly stick around, which probably is part of Google’s overall design language these days. Having said that, the camera layout does look slightly thinner compared to the large housing on the Pixel 8 Pro model.

The leak also hints at Google’s continuation with a triple camera system, which could see major hardware upgrades. We’re also eager to see how the Pixel 9 Pro shapes up in front of other flagships from 2024, especially with the exciting news about the new Exynos 2400 chipset doing a lot better than the previous Exynos versions.

Google’s Tensor chips have failed to match the premium performance of its peers but that has to change in the long term which could be a game changer for Google in every aspect, notably, the pricing part of the product. The tipster has a solid track record with leaks and it is likely that the Google Pixel 9 Pro could be eerily similar to the renders we’re seeing at the start of the year.
