New Delhi: LG has announced the roll out of Google’s latest mobile operating software Android 6.0 Marshmallow to its devices, starting with the LG G4 smartphone.
Beginning next week, the LG G4 users in Poland will start receiving the update followed by Europe, Asia, and the US.
The latest Android OS comes with a host of new features and enhancements including advanced app permission controls, improved fingerprint sensing, quick translation of text, Android for Work improvements, among others.

Chris Yie, vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications Company, said, “By working closely with Google, LG has been able to bring Android 6.0 to the G4 ahead of any of our competitors. While speed alone isn’t an indicator of great service, it does go a long way toward giving consumers the confidence that LG is committed to its existing customers first.”
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade schedule and model details will be in announced in individual markets .
