New Delhi: Xiaomi has announced a price cut of Rs 2,000 on the 4G variant of the Redmi Note. The phone, which was earlier priced at Rs 9,999, is now available for Rs 7,999.
It has a 5.5-inch HD display, 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. Unde its hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone includes a 3100mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery.
The Redmi Note 4G first went on sale in India in December last year. It was Xiaomi's very first 4G device to be introduced in India, with support for both 4G bands - FDD-LTE (Band 3 - 1800 MHz) and TDD-LTE (Band 40 - 2300 MHz).
