Bigg Boss 17 continues to capture the attention of viewers across the nation. The third week of the show brought forth the much-anticipated nomination process, and it was nothing short of a roller-coaster ride, filled with heated arguments and disagreements. Amidst the chaos, a shocking moment unfolded when wild card entrant Manasvi Mamgai accused her co-contestant and fellow wild card entrant, Samarth Jurel, of objectifying her.
During the nomination task, Manasvi chose Samarth Jurel as her first nominee and didn’t hold back when explaining her decision. She claimed that Samarth had been continuously objectifying her and attempting to depict her in a derogatory light. She pointed out how Samarth had persistently teased her about a bold scene she performed in one of her films.
Manasvi expressed her concerns, saying, “Since the beginning, he has been constantly mentioning the water scene I did. But he kept doing that, and I got angry about it. I realized that he is deliberately trying to portray me in a derogative way.”
In response, Bigg Boss probed Manasvi further and asked her to elaborate on her allegations. She continued, “I did one movie where I played a bold role. In the film, there was a sequence where I was kidnapped, and the kidnappers were throwing water at me. So, it was a bold scene. And since the day we met, Samarth has been constantly talking about that scene. I thought he was trying to portray an image outside but he wants to demean me. Initially, I let it go, but he kept on repeating it.”
After Manasvi’s allegations, Samarth Jurel argued that his comments were merely compliments on her performance in the bold scene. He stated that Manasvi had misunderstood his intentions and took the compliments in the wrong way.
While the accusations and drama between Manasvi and Samarth took centre stage during the nominations, other notable events unfolded in the episode as well. Manasvi Mamgai also found herself in a heated exchange with Anurag Dobhal after he nominated her. She accused him of maintaining a false bond and then backstabbing her. Additionally, Sana Khan expressed her anger after being nominated by Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain.
The episode witnessed a major showdown between Aishwarya Sharma-Neil Bhatt and Vicky Jain-Ankita Lokhande, adding to the drama quotient. Eventually, the contestants nominated for eviction from the Bigg Boss 17 house in the third week were Sana Khan, Samarth Jurel, Arun Mahashetty, Isha Malviya, and Manasvi Mamgai.
