TV stars Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre, who worked together in Ghar Ek Mandir, exchanged vows in a charming ceremony on December 21. The dreamy wedding took place in Vadodara, Gujarat, which was attended by their family and industry friends. Sharing glimpses on social media, the duo delighted fans with charming snapshots from their special day. The couple’s friends also shared snaps from the wedding festivities. Among the treasured moments, a video showed Shrenu walking down the aisle to the melodious tune of Dilbaro from the movie Raazi. Another heartwarming video captured the exchange of garlands between the couple, which was met with cheers and applause from their friends and family.
For the special occasion, Shrenu radiated elegance in a glittering red lehenga decked with exquisite additions, complemented by lavish bridal jewellery. On the other hand, Akshay looked sophisticated in a red sherwani and a white turban. Sharing the pictures, Shrenu wrote, “Taken forever. 21/12/23.”

Ahead of their grand wedding in Vadodara, the festivities kicked off with Shrenu’s mehendi ceremony in Mumbai. The Ishqbaaaz star wore green attire. The celebrations continued at the venue destination with an intimate gathering where Shrenu sang Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye for her soon to be husband, Akshay. Further, for the Haldi ceremony, the duo opted for neon green attire instead of the traditional yellow and arrived at the venue with swag, on a yellow scooter.
For the sangeet ceremony, Shrenu Parikh and Akshay Mhatre not only showcased their dance moves on tracks like Mere Naam Tu, Chal Pyaar Karegi and Oonchi Hai Building, but also enjoyed performances of their dear ones. Their wedding was a star-studded affair, graced by prominent personalities from the industry including Surbhi Chandna, Mansi Srivastava, Neha Laxmi, Ankit Bathla and many more.
