Each of his trees has grown to be 7 to 9 feet long. People come from far away to see them. The farmer earns Rs 20 lakh annually from this cultivation.

The farmer Surendra Singh, who lives in Sitamarhi district, grows bananas on a large scale. The special thing is that he grows bananas up to 9 feet long. You may have never seen such a long banana tree. This banana tree is two to a half feet taller than the farmer. However, the farmer needs to learn what variety of banana it is. The farmer said that he had ordered plants from many states including Kerala, Kolkata and Hajipur.

The farmer himself has named this banana Kalashsthani. More than 50 dozen bananas are in this 6 to 9-foot-long shaved. The farmer said that it takes 18 months to complete. This particular banana is currently grown in three bighas of land. The length of his plant is 13 feet. Surendra grows bananas in a total of 6 bighas, out of which three bighas are for this and three bighas are for other types of bananas. The price of a ghavad of big bananas ranges from Rs 1,400 to 2,000. In wholesale, it is sold for Rs 40 to 50 per dozen.

The plant that grows from the root of this banana is sold for Rs 100 per piece and earns Rs 20 lakh in a year. When Surendra started banana cultivation, he brought banana plants from different states of the country. This one has turned out to be the best among them. Surendra said that even he was shocked to see such a tall tree. About Rs 80,000 are spent on one bigha and Rs 4 lakh are earned from it.
