Is Mohammad Rizwan's X Post for Haris Rauf AI-Generated? Social Media User Shares 'Proof'

Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan has found himself in the eye of the storm after coming out in support of his teammate Haris Rauf. In a now-viral video, Rauf is seen confronting a fan. The pacer can be heard saying, “How can you abuse my father? [gaali baap ko de raha hai].” He then adds, “Indian hi hai yeh, [He is surely an Indian].” Reacting to the incident, Rizwan said that it was not the nationality, but rather the lack of “values and manners” that matter the most. A user on X (formerly Twitter) has now sensationally pointed out that Rizwan’s note may have been completely AI-generated.

The person has shared a screenshot of an AI-content-detecting site. It claimed the text shared by Mohammad Rizwan was “100 percent AI-generated.”

The tweet, in question, read, “It is irrelevant whether the person who disrespected Haris Rauf was from Pakistan or India. What truly matters is that this individual lacked values and manners. No one has the right to disrespect any human being, especially in front of their family members. Such appalling behaviour must be stopped. Values like tolerance, respect, and compassion are increasingly rare commodities.”

In the now-viral video, Haris Rauf can be seen confronting a group of people. The interaction didn’t seem healthy as Rauf is seen losing his temper and rushing towards one individual.

After Haris Rauf claimed that the person was Indian, a fan interrupted ‘he was from Pakistan’. To this, Rauf replied, “Pakistan se hai, phir bhi yeh teri haalat hai, [This is your situation despite being from Pakistan]?”

Later, Haris Rauf reacted to the incident by sharing a statement on X. “I decided to not bring this on social media, but now that the video is out, I feel it is necessary to address the situation. As public figures, we are open to receiving all kinds of feedback from the public. They are entitled to support or criticise us. Nevertheless, when it comes to my parents and my family, I will not hesitate to respond accordingly. It is important to show respect towards people and their families, irrespective of their professions,” the Pakistan pacer wrote.
