The job market competition has intensified, and the hiring process has undergone significant changes. It has become more demanding with multiple interview rounds. Even job applications often require candidates to share personal insights. When the founder and CEO of Arva Health sought applications for a full-stack engineer role, she received an unexpected and amusing response to the question “Why are you fit for this role?” It has since sparked laughter across the internet.
It happened when Arva Health’s CEO, Dipalie Bajaj, was going through the applications for a job role in her startup, and one of the candidate’s responses caught her attention. In the application form, when asked why he thought he would make a good fit for the role, the undisclosed job seeker answered with a hilarious response, stating that he needed the job to marry his childhood love. The candidate also explained that his girlfriend’s father had set a condition that he would only allow his daughter to get married to him if he got a job.
The screenshot posted on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) contains the answer to the question. “I believe I bring a unique blend of FullStack that aligns well with the requirements of this role. Also, if I don’t get this job, I would never marry my childhood love because her father says, u will only marry her if you have a job,” the applicant wrote.

The real thing would be if HR is considering him for the next round.” Another user commented, “Bro would work so as to not get fired at any cost.”
