Peak Bengaluru Moment: Ola Driver Checks Server Logs While Driving In Viral Video
Shared by Crework co-founder Ishant Juyal, the video featured an Ola driver in Bengaluru checking server logs while driving.

The bustling culture of Bengaluru never fails to make headlines. India’s IT hub is home to a distinctive mix of individuals going about their daily lives and working. It’s common to see individuals working in odd places, such as a club, a wedding or a traffic congestion. There have also been instances of people multitasking since the work environment is fast-paced and nothing waits for anybody. A recent incident had an Ola driver viewing server logs while driving.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption that read, “Ye ola wale bhaiya checking server logs while driving is my @peakbengaluru (sic) moment.”

The user saw the cab driver was engaging in an intriguing activity as he was riding in a cab that he had booked using OLA. Examining the situation more closely revealed that the driver was looking at his web server logs. The image is wobbly and fuzzy, suggesting that it was captured discreetly.

The post had 131,900 views at the time of reporting and garnered various comments.

A user wrote, “Bro is doing Debug and Drive.”

Another user said, “Accident to hote rehenge, pehle logs check kar leta hun.”

A third user jokingly wrote, “IT job is his side hustle.”

“Ya toh server crash hoga ya toh car”, (Either the server will crash or the car), commented another user.

According to a 2023 report by Dutch firm TomTom, which specialises in location technology, Bengaluru is the second-slowest driving metropolis globally. A mere 10 miles may be covered in 29 minutes and 10 seconds in the city.

Despite this, individuals try to make the most of traffic hours. Last year, a user shared an image showing packs of peeled peas and green chickpeas on the seat of a vehicle.

“Being productive during peak traffic hours,” she wrote in the caption.

An average commuter from Bengaluru spent 257 hours driving during peak hours in 2023, according to the TomTom analysis, with 132 of those hours being related to traffic. Other crowded cities in India, according to the report, include Pune, which ranks eighth globally. In the global rankings, Mumbai is ranked 54th, whereas Delhi is ranked 44th.
