There are countless children around the world who often make headlines for displaying extraordinary skills and abilities beyond their age. Recently, a 5-year-old boy from Bihar is currently in the limelight for remembering the names of 195 countries, their capital cities, currencies, and national flags. It is also reported that the boy can identify any country on the world map in seconds and can tell which country is located where within two seconds. He also can tell everything including the colour of the national flag of that country. As per the reports, the name of the 5-year-old boy is Rudrans, who lives in Gaya district of Bihar. Rudrans lives in the White House compound of Gaya city, and at this age he has started being called Map Boy.
Currently, Rudrans is a student of Senior KG in Prarambhik Play School, and he has complete knowledge about state capitals, world maps, and the solar system. Rudrans gives three different arguments on why Pluto is not called a planet. Although Rudrans is five years old, he has been curious to know new things since the age of two. He remembers the hoardings that are put up while coming to school from home.
In a recent media interaction, his mother, Shilpi Gupta, says that Rudran always tries to learn new things. He keeps exploring new things. He wants to know about new things through the internet and books and by going into their depth. This is how he has memorised all the continents, countries, currencies, and flags of the country, and now his interest has developed towards the solar system, planets, and steroids. Due to his good memory and logical skills, he can easily memorise anything, like Gayatri Mantra.
His mother also said that when he was 2 years old, she came to know that her child has some special qualities. He wanted to know everything in depth. While going to school from home, he used to memorise any banner poster on the way. After this, we paid special attention to him and started providing him with all kinds of books.
Today, Rudrans can tell the names of 195 countries on the world map in seconds. Apart from this, he has memorised the names of about 100 countries and their capital cities. His intellectual ability is such that he remembers everything once he is told.
Rudran’s teacher, Alka Singh, says that this child is God-gifted, and he has the ability to memorise anything easily. We have been teaching this child for the last 2 years, but he knows everything.
