No word is enough to describe the popularity of Mumbai Indians not only in India, but also in other parts of the world. Since the introduction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008, the franchise has secured the silverware five times and is currently the joint-most successful team in the tournament alongside arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings. From Sachin Tendulkar to Sanath Jayasuriya, Zaheer Khan to Lasith Malinga, many legendary players have donned the Mumbai kit over the years. The team has been going through much turbulence this season regarding a shift in leadership. However, it has hardly made any impact on its fandom.
Over the past few days, a mystery woman has been creating a buzz across the internet for her viral photographs with Mumbai Indians stars Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya. The pictures were supposedly taken inside a flight. The woman was perhaps a co-passenger of the India cricketers, who were travelling with their IPL teammates.

Many might think her an ordinary Mumbai Indians fan, but that’s actually not the case. The woman is a popular television actress and her name is Sejal Jaiswal. She has gained recognition in the entertainment industry for her work in TV serials like Dil Mange More and Dating in Dark. Sejal started her career in modelling at the age of 19 before shifting her focus to acting.

About Mumbai Indians, the franchise named Hardik Pandya the new captain ahead of the 2024 IPL, replacing title-winning skipper Rohit Sharma. The decision hasn’t gone down well with many fans, who have been trolling the team management since the beginning of the season.
Mumbai Indians have already played two matches in this campaign and have yet to secure their maiden victory. Their performance was quite poor on both occasions. In their opening match, Mumbai were up against last season’s runners-up Gujarat Titans. Due to a below-par show from their batting unit, Mumbai ended up suffering a 62-run defeat in the away game.
In the following game, Mumbai Indians took on Sunrisers Hyderabad away from home and the match turned out to be historic for many reasons. Hyderabad posted the highest team total after batting first. In reply to their 278-run target, Mumbai were able to score 246 runs. In their upcoming game, Hardik Pandya and Co. will clash against Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede on April 1.
