Michael Jackson is believed to be one of the most popular artists of all time. The American singer, songwriter, and dancer is globally known as the ‘King of Pop’. Even after he died in 2009, he is remembered fondly by music and dance lovers around the world. Now an old video of Jackson is going viral on X. The video shows Jackson posing for photographers after he noticed that the cameramen snapped at his every gesture, seemingly to capture his every pose. To cater to the eager press photographers, Jackson starts posing with his hands so that the photographers can get a good shot.

Recently a popular X account shared this video and wrote, “Michael Jackson realizing they take pictures every time he moves.” It appears that this video was reportedly taken at a press conference in Tokyo on Juy 27, 1998. It captured Jackson’s lighthearted side. The clip has gathered over two lakh likes since it was posted on X on March 1.

In the comments, many people noted that they have never known any cultural figure as popular as Jackson. Expressing this sentiment, an X user wrote, “The young people will never know. The fame that MJ had has never been seen again. It was absolutely phenomenal.”

Back in 1985, Chiranjeevi starer in the action film Donga. One of the songs in the film, Golimaar almost replicated Jackson’s chart-topping song Thriller.

Recently, the netizens picked up the similarities between the two songs. People were quick to note that Chiranjeevi’s red outfit and the ‘horror’ film aesthetic of the song were too similar to Thriller.

Michael Jackson fans are gearing up for the release of his biopic titled, Michael. The film, set to be made as a musical will have Jackson’s nephew Jaafar Jackson as Michael Jackson. The cast also includes Colman Domingo, Nia Long, and Miles Teller. It is directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan. Michael is expected to be released in the USA on April 18, 2025.
