Trending: US Woman Shares Experience Of Marrying A Pathological Liar
Many people have lauded Reesa for making people aware of pathological liars and how they manipulate people.

Reesa Teesa, a woman from Atlanta in the USA, is a new viral sensation on social media. She gained viral fame after sharing a 52-part storytime style video about her short-lived marriage with a man she described as a “pathological liar,” “narcissist” and “the United Nations of red flags.” Reesa first made a short video about her ex-husband’s shenanigans in response to a TikTok trend in which people shared the craziest thing their ex did. Once people started encouraging her to talk more about it, Reesa started storytime-style videos titled, “Who TF did I marry?” as she detailed how her ex-husband lied to her about his job and family and tricked her into marriage.

She claimed to have used pseudonyms throughout her videos and named her ex-husband “Legion”, which refers to a “group of demons” in the Bible. Reesa met Legion right before the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. They had met through a dating app and soon began dating with the intention of marriage. They moved in together once the lockdown started. Reesa got pregnant and the couple started looking for a bigger house to move into. All this time Legion forged fake documents with regards to finances and his job. He also kept delaying the down payment on their new house, even as he claimed to have the money. Despite having her doubts Reesa and Legion got married in January 2021.

Ressa soon discovered that her relationship was built on lies when she found that Legion’s social security number was invalid. Once she managed to track his real family members, they told her that they had cut all ties with him long ago. This meant that he used to pretend to be on calls with his family. Ressa was able to divorce Legion after two years.

Through her 52-part TikTok series, Ressa said she intended to warn people about pathological liars and how they manipulate people. Her videos have over 100 million views on TikTok and she has gathered over 3.4 million followers since she started the series on February 14. Her videos are now circulating across social media platforms.

However, the drama has not ended here. A man named Jerome McCoy has come forward as the twin brother of “Legion”. Jerome claims that his brother divorced Ressa after he caught her cheating with a man named Bradley. Jerome said he is planning to sue Reesa for slander.

Reesa responded by claiming that Jerome is mentally unstable and urged people not to engage with him. Another woman LaToya Averett, who says she was Jerome’s first wife, agreed with Reesa and said Jerome lied and manipulated her.
