Hardik Pandya, who was in the front row, encountered a hilarious event during the victory lap at Wankhede. He was encouraging the crowd while stretching his arms. That’s when suddenly, a T-shirt came flying off the stands and landed directly on his right hand.

Hardik Pandya smilingly ignored the interference and dropped the T-shirt. At that moment, Jasprit Bumrah was just behind Pandya. The bizarre incident caught the attention of Bumrah and left him in splits. The moment was captured on camera. A fan later shared the footage on X with the caption, “Hardik caught someone’s T-shirt and the way Bumrah is dying of laughter.”

Both Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah deserve much credit for India’s triumphant finish at the T20 World Cup. Bumrah was named the Player of the Tournament after picking 15 wickets in 8 matches. Meanwhile, Pandya contributed with both the bat and ball. He bowled the last over in the final against South Africa and successfully defended 16 runs to secure the T20 World Cup title.
