In a video shared on Instagram shortly after Swift’s Grammy triumph, Hicks mimicked the singer’s strapless Schiaparelli gown using a white bedsheet and some clever DIY techniques. Hicks fashioned a high slit by cinching the sheet at her waist and even replicated Swift’s custom-made Lorraine Schwartz vintage watch choker using a magazine cutout and black tape.

The attention to detail didn’t stop there. Hicks crafted a layered necklace out of foil paper and a jewellery pendant from a cough drop, mirroring Swift’s accessories. To emulate Swift’s black opera gloves, Hicks used a pair of black tights, completing the look with red lipstick and textured waves in her hair, reminiscent of the pop star’s hairstyle.
