Kate Does Not Want to Do Anything with Prince Harry, William Wants to ‘Protect’ Wife from Brother

Kate Middleton is yet to receive any well wishes from Prince Harry following her planned abdominal surgery in January and is recovering well. Royal expert Christopher Anderson claims the ailing Princess of Wales, who underwent planned abdominal surgery in January, and her estranged brother-in-law have not spoken despite conspiracy theories surrounding Kate’s health. “I think there was once a relationship, a friendship, a very close one between Harry and Kate. I’m sure he’s concerned about her as well, but I know that she wants to have nothing to do with them,” Anderson was quoted as saying by Us Weekly.

Anderson said Middleton “feels betrayed” by Harry and her husband Prince William, 41, and father-in-law King Charles also share the same sentiment following the release of Harry’s memoir Spare and the Netflix documentary starring Harry and his wife and Kate’s sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

Anderson who wrote William and Kate: A Royal Love Story alleged that Harry has not reached out amid Middleton’s health concerns.

“My understanding is he hasn’t, and it is a stalemate. They’re both on opposite sides of this wall and nobody has the courage to leap over it and really make an honest attempt,” he further added.

Meanwhile, there is radio silence from the Kensington Palace regarding Middleton’s recovery and she is expected to return to her public duties after Easter.

Earlier this month, royal expert and commentator Helena Chard told Fox News that Prince William is blocking the return of Prince Harry in a bid to protect Kate Middleton.

“Prince William has his own private turmoil. He knows his brother well and certainly won’t allow him to breeze back into the family as he doesn’t trust him,” Chard said.

“Prince William is also hugely protective of [his wife] Catherine, the Princess of Wales, and will not let anything interfere with her recuperation,” she further added.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield also said if Prince William feels Harry will be a threat to the recuperation of Kate Middleton he will exert his influence over the situation.

“There’s one huge obstacle in Harry’s way, and that’s Prince William. William understands that Harry and Meghan don’t properly consider the consequences and aren’t trustworthy. They are a liability to the family,” Schofield was quoted as saying by the New York Post.
