Former WWE star Gurvinder Sihra aka Gurv recently shared a heartbreaking story about his departure from the company. As part of the Bollywood Boyz tag team, Gurv achieved tremendous success during his WWE career. His contract was terminated after Gurv suffered a defeat at the hands of Grayson Waller in 205 Live Back back in June 2021.
A clip of the fight recently surfaced on social media and caught the attention of Gurv, sending him on a nostalgic trip. The wrestler reshared the post on X (formerly Twitter) and revealed how an unfortunate injury put a sudden end to his WWE career.
According to Gurv, his right shoulder got dislocated during the match against Grayson Waller. He sustained the injury at the beginning of the fight but made sure to finish it. Three weeks later when Gurv was undergoing rehabilitation, WWE dropped him from the main roster.
After leaving the Stamford-based company, Gurv and his ex-tag team partner in Bollywood Boyz, Harvinder ‘Harv’ Sihra, have worked in the Indies. They are currently plying their trade at All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Wow.This was my final match in WWE.
I finished this match w/ a dislocated right shoulder. It came out of socket early in the match & I was fighting my way through the pain. The old school mentality kicked in “fight through”
3 weeks later I was fired while in rehab.

Reminiscing about his last assignment with WWE, Gurv wrote on X, “I finished this match with a dislocated right shoulder. It came out of the socket early in the match & I was fighting my way through the pain. The old school mentality kicked in ‘fight through’. Three weeks later I was fired while in rehab.”
In the comment box, Gurv further revealed that he felt “gutted” after being released by WWE. He, however, extended gratitude to those fans, who showed their support for the Bollywood Boyz back then.
Obviously there’s never a good time to get fired from your job but being injured & in rehab absolutely gutted meI’m very proud of the hardwork & body of work my brother & I have put forward in these 3 years. Appreciate everyone that is still cheering us on. Much love #grit

Earlier in November last year, former WWE superstar Matt Cardona expressed his wish to see the Bollywood Boyz back in WWE. Cardona wanted the wrestling company to re-sign Guv and Harv for the 2024 season.

The alliance of Gurvinder Sihra and Harvinder Sihra was known as The Singh Brothers in the early phase of their WWE careers. They later changed the name to The Bollywood Boyz. The duo won several famous tag-team matches and had a dominant run in the cruiserweight division.
