WWE NXT Results, 2 July: Jaida Parker Takes On Michin In A Street Fight, Men's Championship Match Contract Signing

The latest episode of WWE NXT was jam-packed with wrestling action and featured all the latest updates on the brand’s upcoming premium live event Heatwave. This week’s edition of WWE NXT began with Jaida Parker taking on Mia Yim in a street fight. Tag-team action followed as Hank Walker teamed up with Tank Ledger to take on the New Catch Republic. Fans witnessed more women’s action as Karmen Petrovic faced Jazmyn Nyx. The show came to an end after the NXT Championship contract signing between Trick Williams, Ethan Page, Je’Von Evans and Shawn Spears.

Jaida Parker takes on Michin in a Street Fight

The latest NXT episode kicked off with Jaida Parker meeting Michin on the ramp with a Kendo stick. She then landed a chop on Parker before grabbing a pipe and chair. After some back-and-forth action, Michin got hold of the pipe and then tried to hit Parker who countered using a fire extinguisher. Parker then finished off her opponent using a Running Hip Attack, sealing a win by pinfall.

Roxxane Perez and Lola Vice’s in-ring confrontation

This segment began with Lola Vice entering the WWE ring and telling Roxanne Perez that the clock was ticking. She further told Perez that she was a fighter, having gone to the MMA to provide for her family during a young age. Perez acknowledged Vice’s words and said she respected her. But when it came to the NXT Women’s Championship, Perez won’t be giving up her title. After a brief staredown between the two, Perez’s security guards moved forward. Vice then landed a 305 on one of the guards.

Trick Williams addressed the NXT crowd and said that Heatwave would be coming to Toronto. Ethan Page cut him off by saying that this time Heatwave won’t be the same as NXT Battleground. Page also added that he won’t have to pin Williams to take away the title from him. Next, Shawn Spears talked about how he admired Williams’ emotions but it would not allow him to defend his title at the upcoming NXT premium live event. Finally, Je’Von Evans added a few words before all four signed the contract. Next, an argument broke out before Williams landed a flapjack on Page while Evans power-bombed Spears through a table. The duo then stared at each other as the show went off-air.

Brinley Reece vs Izzi Dame -Dame secured a pinfall victory with a slam.

Myles Borne vs Oro Mensah -Mensah won by pinfall using a rolling Koppu Kick.

Carley Bright vs Wendy Choo -Choo beat Bright by submission with a Cutthroat Choke.

Jazmyn Nyx vs Karmen Petrovic -Nyx won the match after hitting a Pele Kick on Petrovic.
