Vespa 946 Dragon Edition: India's Most Expensive Scooter Launched At Rs 14.28 Lakh
The Vespa 946 Dragon Edition is handcrafted and launched globally to celebrate Hong Kong's Lunar New Year.

Vespa has just launched its priciest scooter in India, the Vespa 946 Dragon Edition.

This scooter costs Rs 14.28 lakh (ex-showroom), making it even more expensive than the base model Mahindra Scorpio SUV, which starts at Rs 13.61 lakh. You can now book this exclusive scooter at Motoplex showrooms across India.

Handcrafted in Italy and arriving as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), the Vespa 946 Dragon Edition celebrates the Lunar New Year of Hong Kong. Its standout feature is a dragon motif in emerald green, symbolizing prosperity, featured along its profile and beneath the headlamp.

This scooter is built with a metal-monocoque body, single leading-link shock, 12-inch wheels, and 220 mm disc brakes on both ends. It’s powered by a 150cc, air-cooled engine that delivers 12.7 bhp and 12.8 Nm of peak torque.

In addition to the scooter, buyers will receive a limited-edition Vespa Dragon Varsity Jacket. This stylish jacket, a first for Vespa in India, is made with ribbed wool and Nappa leather sleeves, featuring emerald green dragon motifs and intricate embroidery, matching the scooter’s design.

Only 1,888 units of the Vespa 946 Dragon Edition will be sold worldwide, though the number for India hasn’t been revealed yet.
