New Delhi: Infotech giant Wipro came out with its fourth quarter results for Financial Year 2006 on Wednesday. The net profit for FY06 stands at Rs 2,067 crore, recording a significant growth from Rs 1,628.5 crore last year.
The FY06 revenue, too, is up 30 per cent at Rs 10,626 crore as against Rs 8169.8 crore last year.
The Q4 net profit also recorded a 13.7 per cent surge from 543.6 crore and stands at Rs 618 crore.
The revenues, too, have gone up considerably from Rs 2743.9 crore to Rs 3113 crore.
The global IT revenue stands at $519 mn (Rs 2,317 cr) versus guidance of $510 mn last year.
The IT giant has also added 42 clients in Q4 and has declared dividends of Rs 5/share.
