At Leo Success Meet, Thalapathy Vijay Narrates His ‘Kutty Story’

All roads leading to Nehru Stadium in Chennai were vastly congested on Wednesday night as the Leo success meet was held there with much pomp. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, screenwriters Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy, actors Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, George Maryan, Madonna Sebastian, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, and others attended the exclusive event for fans. The man of the moment Thalapathy Vijay mesmerized his fans with a power-filled speech. From talking about the film Leo to touching upon the controversial ‘superstar’ debate, his speech was nothing short of fiery.

While the highlight of the speech was his acknowledging himself as the ‘Thalapathy (commander) of the fans, whom he referred to as kings, his ‘kutty story’ also took the attention of fans. The kutty story is a song from Vijay and Lokesh’s previous film together Master. In the song, Vijay who plays a school teacher, sings to his students about some important philosophies of life, which he calls his ‘Kutty story’. Similarly, Vijay urged his fans to listen to his Kutty story while delivering a speech and narrating an interesting story.

“Two individuals went hunting in the wilderness. There were lots of deer, rabbits, elephants, peacocks, ravens, and eagles in that woodland. While the other man is armed with a spear, the first man possesses a bow and arrow. The man with the bow tries to shoot a rabbit and succeeds.

“The spear-wielding man misses the elephant he was going for. After returning to their respective hometowns, which one of them is the most accomplished? It is the man who set out to reach the elephant that succeeds. My reasoning for stating this is that achieving something that is simple to obtain does not necessarily equate to success; instead, one should strive for something that is difficult to obtain. All of your goals and desires should be big,” Vijay said.

Leo was released on October 19 and has been receiving a great response. Seven Screen Studio declared on October 31 that the movie had made Rs 540 crore in just 12 days.
