The Indian Army is offering a golden opportunity for aspiring candidates to serve the nation through its upcoming recruitment drive for Agniveer posts. Scheduled to commence on June 25th in Gaya, Bihar and extending until July 5th, the recruitment rally aims to attract youth from 11 districts, including Lakhisarai, Nawada, Jehanabad, Rohtas, Jamui, Nalanda, Aurangabad, Sheikhpura, Kaimur Bhabua, Gaya and Arwal.
Preparations are in full swing to ensure a seamless and efficient rally despite the scorching summer temperatures. The venue, Bihar Special Armed Police Ground in Bodh Gaya, will witness the participation of approximately 4,500 shortlisted candidates out of the 11,000 who underwent the written examination.
To guarantee the smooth execution of the event, a collaborative effort between Indian Army officials and the Gaya district administration has been initiated. Dr Thiagarajan SM, the District Officer, highlighted the provision of essential equipment like sand and JCB for ground levelling and cleaning. The Municipal Council of Bodh Gaya has been entrusted with ensuring proper sanitation arrangements, including dustbins and adequate cleaning personnel.
Given the anticipated heat wave in June, preventive measures have been put in place to safeguard the health and well-being of participants. A waterproof pandal will provide shelter, while provisions such as ORS packets, basic medicines and access to cold water will be readily available. Additionally, water coolers will be installed, ensuring hydration for both candidates and officials present at the rally.
Stringent instructions have been issued to ensure the implementation of necessary safety measures, including proper electric lighting, traffic control and crowd management. With meticulous planning and proactive measures, the Indian Army aims to conduct a successful Agniveer recruitment rally, providing a platform for enthusiastic individuals to embark on a fulfilling journey of service to the nation.
