The Bihar government has introduced a beneficial scheme, aimed at assisting underprivileged students. This initiative is designed to support students who are forced to discontinue their studies due to financial constraints. Under this scheme, the government will supply books to deserving students. Additionally, students and young individuals preparing for competitive examinations will need to submit certain essential certificates. If you are facing financial difficulties and aspire to continue your education, there is no need to worry anymore. The lack of books will no longer be an issue. Simply visit the Samastipur office and fill out an offline application form. Once submitted, your book-related issues will be addressed, and books will be provided to you based on your requirements.
Samastipur District Planning Officer, Sumit Kumar Singh, provided details about this initiative, highlighting that numerous students are compelled to discontinue their studies due to financial constraints. This news is particularly significant for such financially disadvantaged yet promising students. Students currently pursuing their studies and in need of books can visit the District Employment Exchange office located adjacent to Mohanpur Road Sharif College in Samastipur district. They are encouraged to apply here to receive books tailored to their requirements, as the office will provide them with the necessary books upon application.
The officer at the employment office stated that to benefit from this scheme, students must present their caste certificate, income certificate, and residential certificate. Only after providing these documents will the students’ applications be considered. It is important to note that only students from families with an annual income of less than Rs 1,80,000 are eligible to apply for this scheme. Here’s how to avail the scheme:
Step 1: Students are required to bring all the mentioned certificates to the District Employment Office.
Step 2: Upon arrival, they will be provided with a form to fill out, which must then be submitted to the office.
Step 3: A dedicated team has been established to review these applications.
Step 4: If found eligible, students will be notified accordingly.
Step 5: Once deemed eligible, students can visit the office to acquire books for various competitive exams and courses, ranging from JEE Mains to SSC, GD, and BSC.
Step 6: Books for various government-conducted competitive examinations will be accessible at the office.
