The High Court of Jharkhand is seeking online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of English Stenographer. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can visit the official website of the Jharkhand High Court at jharkhandhighcourt.nic.in and apply for the posts. It is to be noted by the applicants that the registration window will open on March 1, and the last date to submit the application form is March 31, 2024.
The recruitment drive is being conducted to recruit a total of 399 candidates for the Jharkhand High Court. Among the vacancies offered, there are 397 vacancies for the post of English Stenographer for Civil Courts of the State of Jharkhand, and 2 are for English Stenographer for Judicial Academy Jharkhand, Ranchi.
Jharkhand HC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: To be eligible, the minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years of age, but the maximum age should not be more than 35 years for Un-reserved and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates as of January 1, 2024. In the case of BC-I and BC-II categories, the maximum age is 37 years, for females (unreserved, EWS, BC-I and BC-II), it is 38 years, and 40 years in the case of ST and SC categories (for both males and females).
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be a Graduate in any subject from a recognized University to be eligible for the offered post. They should also possess a stenography speed of 80 words per minute (wpm) in English and a typing speed of 40 words per minute (wpm) in English on a Computer with permissible mistakes up to 5 per cent.

Jharkhand HC Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
Applicants falling under the unreserved, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Backward Class-I, and Backward Class-II categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500, while candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories have to pay Rs 125.
