Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) exam offers candidates an opportunity to get posted to high-ranking government jobs in the state. It is, however, one of the highly competitive examinations and requires intense training and the right guidance to clear it. One candidate named Ruchi Jain, hailing from Panchsheel Nagar, Madhya Pradesh has topped this examination held in 2019. She has topped the list of the candidates selected for the Deputy Superintendent by the commission. Ruchi has cleared the civil services exam held by the Union Public Service Commission in 2020 as well and is currently on a probation period. This is one of the major accomplishments in Ruchi’s professional career, as she is the first civil service servant in her family. This space articulates the difficulties faced by Ruchi while preparing for this exam and how she overcame it.
According to the reports, Ruchi completed her education at a government school and college. Ruchi’s parents Arvind Jain and Sarita Jain told the media that their daughter had been immensely hard working since childhood. Arvind Jain is a businessman and Sarita Jain is a homemaker. Ruchi credits her parents and elder brother Ayush Jain for this milestone in her career. She recalls that her elder brother was instrumental in motivating her to make strides on the career part. According to Ruchi, it was Ayush who taught her about many important aspects of life and helped in her studies as well. She also attributed a major share of her professional success to self-studies.
A major hurdle Ruchi faced while attempting the online examination was her inability to handle the digital aspects. She, however, learned about it with unwavering dedication. She also faced problems due to her choice of language, that is Hindi medium, while writing for the examination. Still, she didn’t lose courage and went on to clear the Services Selection Board (SSB) examination. She then went on to clear many prestigious examinations like the IAS and MPPSC. Ruchi has also worked in the special branch from 2016 to 2022. She is currently serving as an SDM (Sub-divisional Magistrate) in Andaman Nicobar.
