The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur is set to kick off the NIMCET 2024 Counselling registration today, June 29, 2024. Eligible students who have successfully cleared the NIMCET 2024 exam can participate in this process using the official website nimcet.admissions.nic.in. The counselling process includes registration, choice filling, and locking of preferences, all of which must be completed by July 5, 2024.
As per the counselling timetable, the first round of seat allotment results for NIMCET 2024 will be declared on July 8, 2024. Applicants under the general category are required to submit a counselling fee of Rs 2,500, while those from reserved categories need to pay Rs 1,250.
NIMCET Counselling 2024: Steps to Register
Step 1 – Go to the official website of NIMCET Counselling.
Step 2 – Find and click on the counselling registration link.
Step 3 – Enter the required details in the provided link.
Step 4 – Fill out your choices for the seat allotment process.
Step 5 – Save your choices and then click on the submit button to complete the process.
Meanwhile, to enroll in the NIMCET 2024 counselling, candidates are required to submit the necessary information and documents. These include the NIMCET 2024 admit card, rank card, proof of date of birth, mark sheets and passing certificates for 10th and 12th grades, four recent passport-size photographs, caste certificate, and category certificate.
Following the registration and seat allotment results, candidates will be required to make partial admission fee payments from July 9 to 12, 2024. The second round of seat allotment is scheduled for July 13, 2024, while online reporting and fee payment are scheduled from July 15 to 17, 2024. On July 18, 2024, the third-round seat allotment results will be declared, followed by online reporting and fee payment for fresh allottees from July 19 to 22, 2024. Any vacant seats after these rounds will be announced on July 23, 2024. A special round of counselling will then take place from July 24 to 26, 2024, ensuring all eligible candidates have an opportunity to secure admission based on the availability of seats.
The NIMCET is a national-level entrance test conducted by NIT for admission to their MCA (Master of Computer Applications) programs. These programs are offered at various institutes located in Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, Warangal and IIT Bhopal.
