The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the results for the SSC GD Constable 2024 exam. Those who appeared for the Constable (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Special Security Force (SSF), and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2024 can now download their results via the official website of the Commission at ssc.gov.in.
As per an official notice, 38,328 women and 3,08,076 men have been selected for the physical exam. The successful male candidates are divided into the following categories: 26,507 from the EWS category, 47,697 from ST, 31,981 from OBC, 2,285 from ESM, and 131,875 from the unreserved category. Meanwhile, there are 3,096 EWS, 5,984 SC, 3,696 ST, 8,410 OBC, and 4 ESM candidates in the female category, with 17,138 coming from the unreserved sections. Candidates who pass the SSC GD written exam will be qualified to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST).
Through this recruitment drive, the Commission aims to fill 46,617 positions, including 13,632 in the CISF, 12,076 in the BSF, 9,410 in the CRPF, 6,287 in the ITBP, 2,990 in the Assam Rifles, 1,926 in the SSB, and 296 in the SSF. There are 2,231 open positions for women and 17,365 open positions for males. In addition, 6,032 seats are reserved for SC, 4,318 for ST, 8,712 for OBC and 5,040 for EWS for men. Women are eligible for 764 jobs designated for SC candidates, 476 ST candidates, 1,087 OBC candidates, and 592 EWS candidates.
SSC GD Constable Result 2024: Steps to Download
Step 1: Go to ssc.gov.in, the official website of SSC.
Step 2: On the home page, go to the ‘Result’ section.
Step 3: Then click on the ‘SSC GD Constable Result 2024’ link that appears on the screen.
Step 4: In the new PDF file look for your roll number and verify.
Step 5: Save a hard copy of the page after downloading the file.
The SSC GD Constable 2024 recruitment exam was held from February 20, 2024, to March 7, 2024, and then on March 30, this year. The provisional answer of the written exam was released on April 3, 2024. After which candidates were allowed to raise objections, if any, until April 10, 2024.
