The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) published the interview call letter for recruitment to the post of Constables/Lady Constables in Kolkata Police – 2022 on January 8, 2024. Shortlisted candidates can download their interview hall tickets from the official websites of West Bengal Police Recruitment Board at prb.wb.gov.in, West Bengal Police at wbpolice.gov.in and Kolkata Police at kolkatapolice.gov.in. It is to be noted that candidates can access and download their e-call letter by entering their Application Sl. number and date of birth.
Under this recruitment drive, the board aims to fill up a total of 2266 vacancies, of which 1410 vacancies are for the Constable positions and 856 for Lady Constable posts. The interview for shortlisted candidates is scheduled to commence on and from January 18, 2024.
“The e-Call Letters for Interview can be downloaded through the link (wbprb.applythrunet.co.in) provided in the websites of West Bengal Police (www.wbpolice.gov.in), West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (https://prb.wb.gov.in), and Kolkata Police (www.kolkatapolice.gov.in) tentatively from January 8. Candidates are requested to download their e-Call Letter on keying of their Application Sl. No. and Date of Birth. Candidates are advised to carry proof of identity and other documents as mentioned in their e-Call Letters for Interview and visit the above-mentioned websites on a regular basis”, read the official notification by the board.
WB CONSTABLE, LADY CONSTABLE RECRUITMENT 2022: HOW TO DOWNLOAD INTERVIEW CALL LETTER
Step 1: Visit the official site of WB Police at wbpolice.gov.in to download the call letter.
Step 2: Click on the link on the homepage titled, ‘Recruitment to the post of Constables and Lady Constables in Kolkata Police 2022.’
Step 3: Then, select the “Download e-Call Letter for Interview” link.
Step 4: Key in your login credentials generated at the time of registration and submit
Step 5: Cross-check the details and download the call letter for reference
Step 6: Generate a hard copy of the same for future use.
WB CONSTABLE, LADY CONSTABLE RECRUITMENT 2022: DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
Candidates shall upload the following documents before downloading their e-Call letter.
–– A certificate or mark sheet showing that the candidate has passed the Madhyamik Examination from the WBBSE or its equivalent.–– Age Proof: Pass certificate or admit card for the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent,
–– Domicile Certificate: For candidates of Hill Sub-Divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts, if applicable.
–– No Objection Certificate (NOC): Candidates employed in any government organisation shall have to produce an NOC (As applicable).
–– Caste certificate for SC and ST candidates issued by the competent authority under the Govt. of West Bengal, if applicable
–– OBC-A/OBC-B certificate issued by the competent authority under the West Bengal government
–– Revalidated or renewed OBC-A/OBC-B certificates in case the actual OBC-A/OBC-B certificates were issued before January 1, 2021
–– Gorkha, Garhwali, and Rajbanshi community certificates (as applicable) [mandatory for those candidates who took relaxation in physical measurement]
–– Relevant certificate as per specified format uploaded with information to applicants for the meritorious sportsperson.
