Get to level 30 in Fisch. The only thing you need to do to be able to speak to Merlin is to get to level 30. If you are starting at level 0, you will need 82,650 XP to get to level 30. Here are a few ways to level up quickly in Fisch: Visit every location. If you haven't visited every location in Fisch, get yourself a boat and start exploring! Visiting a new location will grant you 300 XP. Catch fish and complete your bestiary. Each fish you catch will grant you XP. If you're new, try fishing in the Freshwater Pond on Moosewood to catch Whiptail Catfish (200 XP each) or in the Freshwater Pond in Roslit Bay to catch Axolotls (550 XP each). Merlin is located on Sunstone Island. Sunstone Island is located near Moosewood, so it's not too difficult to get to. Simply sail to the northwest of Moosewood and you'll find Sunstone Island. Alternatively, go to X: -932, Y: 131, Z: -1109. Merlin is found in a hut on top of the southern cliff of Sunstone Island. You must climb up a ladder to reach it. Merlin himself is located at X: -943, Y: 224, Z: -988. If you're below level 30, Merlin won't talk to you and will instead say "It seems you aren't experienced enough for me to assist you…".

Luck If you choose Luck, Merlin will give you a +30% Luck bonus for 10 minutes. This option costs 5,000C$. This Luck bonus does not stack with other Luck bonuses, like the Luck boost from the Fungal Rod. Power If you choose Power, Merlin will give you an Enchant Relic. This option costs 11,000C$. Enchant Relics are used to enchant your rods. Pay Cole 400C$ to use the elevator to go to the Keeper's Altar, where you can then enchant your rods with your Enchant Relic. You can buy a single relic at a time, or you can buy them in stacks of 2, 5, 10, 25, or 50.
