CHENNAI: Three persons were nabbed by sleuths of the DRI, who also seized six kg of ephedrine worth Rs 1.2 crore from the trio, at the Central Railway Station on Saturday night.The banned party drug was meant to be smuggled to Malaysia from Delhi. DRI officials said they caught T Balusamy (52), Akbar Ali (45) and Sejafber Ahamed (35) from Tiruchy, who were acting as carriers, when they arrived at the station to board a train to Delhi at 10.30 pm. They were carrying with them two suitcases with false bottoms where the ephedrine was kept. They were also carrying Delhi-Malaysia flight tickets.
