New Delhi: At the first glance Room 6 at Hotel Modez in Arnhem, Netherlands, may appear to be yet another example geeky interior design. But once you fire up the QR code scanner app in your smartphone, this QR code filled room reveals its erotic side.

This 119-euro-a-night room designed by fashion designer Antoine Peters is described on the hotel website as "a contemporary version of patchwork. The room is filled with QR codes which all hide different spicy pictures. A very exciting room that can keep you busy for hours!"

The hotel opened its doors on September 15, 2012. 30 fashion designers were invited to decorate the twenty rooms. Most of the designers studied at the Institute of Arts in Arnhem.

The wallpaper, furniture, curtains and even the bed linen are entirely covered in QR codes. QR code is an abbreviated form of Quick Response Code. The two-dimensional bar code can be read with a QR code scanner that converts the code into a URL, text or a number.

The QR codes decorating the room lead to URLs of pornographic text, images and movies.

What's your reaction?
