CHENNAI: Swabhimaan Sanghathana, an NGO, has entered the Guinness Book of World Records by handing over a whopping 25,300 job appointment letters in a single day to youths. Guinness World Record Adjudicator Rob Molloy (the designated Official) declared the attempt successful and awarded the certificate to the NGO. Nitesh Rane from Swabhimaan Sanghathana said, “We are happy that we could do our bit for our people. This effort has made not just Maharashtra but India proud.” He further added, “We can’t see or let the future of today’s youths go waste. What we have brought in for these people are well dignified jobs.”The event received a phenomenal response with 80% turnout. The job fair also saw bus loads of people coming from tier 2 and tier 3 cities of Maharashtra. There were serpentine queues in an extremely organized Kamgar Maidan which had rows of company branded stalls.While awarding the certificate for the record, Rob Molloy (the designated Official) of Guinness world Record congratulated Shri. Nitesh Rane saying, “This is a new record for a new category for me and it is a great experience. It’s amazing to see 25,300 happy faces benefiting from one single record.
