Summoned twice by SC, Maya failed to appear and is termed 'absconding'.
New Delhi: Gujarat riots accused and a state minister Maya Kodnani's bail application comes up for a hearing in the court on Thursday.
Kodnani, a three-time MLA from the Naroda constituency is an accused in the Naroda Gam and Naroda Patiya massacre cases in which around 95 people were killed in the communal violence of 2002.
She has been summoned twice by the Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Agency but failed to appear.
This has compelled the agency to declare her as absconding and therefore wanted. The Congress meanwhile has demanded that she be sacked.
