AIADMK GC meet on December 30

CHENNAI: The annual general council meeting of the AIADMK will be held at Vanagaram near Chennai on December 30. Party chief J Jayalalithaa, who made this announcement here on Wednesday, informed that the executive committee would also meet on the same day.  Last year, the council met on December 30 at the same marriage hall at Vanagaram. This would be the first meet  after the AIADMK was voted back to power. It will be presided over by presidium chairman E Madhusudanan.The general council will take stock of developments like the Mullaiperiyar dam row and the Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant issue.
