Akbaruddin attack accused shifted

HYDERABAD: As the health condition of Awaad-bin-Yousuf-Yafai, one of the accused in the attack on MIM MLA Akabaruddin, deteriorated on Monday night, he was rushed to Gandhi hospital by the Cherlapally jail authorities.Awaad suffered a bullet injury when Mohammed Jani, gunman of Malakpet MLA Ahmed Balala, opened fire while Akbaruddin was being attacked at Barkas. At around 10.30 p.m on Monday Awaad was brought to Gandhi hospital where he was treated. It is learnt that the hospital authoritites initially refused him to admit in the hospital. Few days ago when the city police produced Awaad before the magistrate in Namapally court, he told the court that he needs  better medical treatment and expressed doubts that he might not get proper treatment if he is shifted from Yashoda hospital, where he was earlier undergoing treatment, to Cherlapally jail.
