Andhra CM to visit upcoming new capital of Chhattisgarh, Naya Raipur on Monday

Raipur: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu whose state would be developing a new capital city post-bifurcation will visit Naya Raipur, the upcoming new capital of Chhattisgarh, on Monday.

Naidu will later meet his Chhattisgarh counterpart Raman Singh to discuss the successful execution of projects in Naya Raipur, official sources said.

He will also have a meeting with Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA).

Following the bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh government has declared that the new capital city of the truncated state will be developed in the area around Vijayawada.

Earlier this month, a delegation of Vijayawada Development Committee had visited Naya Raipur.
