BHUBANESWAR: Senior Biju Janata Dal leader Damodar Rout’s much hyped forum Biju Bichar Manch, aimed to bring together the followers and admirers of the legendary politician, will finally take shape on October 11, marking the birth anniversary of Jai Prakash Narayan. Rout, who has been garnering support for his forum, has reiterated that the Manch would be an apolitical outfit, on the lines of Lohia Bichar Manch. “It will propagate the ideas, ideologies and philosophies of Biju Patnaik and all those who keenly followed and admired him are invited,” he said. After his resignation, the former Agriculture minister’s move to create a pressure group within the BJD had raised eyebrows in and outside the party. Many also felt that it would not create any impact on the State politics. Rout, a vice-president of BJD, had earlier planned to launch the forum on October 2 but in view of the flood situation, it was put off.
