New Delhi: A 6-year-old boy was killed after falling into a 180 feet deep tubewell in Barama Kheda village near Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh.
Kalu Pita Narain was pulled out nearly 20 hours after he fell into the tubewell but succumbed soon after.
The child was with his maternal uncle when he accidentally fell into the dry tubewell and was trapped at 32 feet.
The villagers immediately informed local administration after his mother called out for help.
A rescue team led by the local SP rushed to the spot and similar to the rescue efforts for Prince, they dug up a 32 feet parallel pit to try and rescue him.
