Brazil opt to play it safe against N.Korea
By Brian Homewood; JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Brazil coach Dunga resisted the temptation to be more adventurous as he stuck to three defensive midfielders for Tuesday's World Cup Group G game against North Korea. Dunga named the Gilberto Silva, Felipe Melo and Elano trio, frequently criticised for being too cautious, to face opponents who were expected to sit back and pack their defence. Kaka was the only attacking midfielder included in the team with Robinho and Luis Fabiano in attack. Goalkeeper Julio Cesar, who missed the friendly win over Tanzania with a back problem 10 days ago, returned to the team as expected. North Korea named a 4-4-2 formation with Hong Yong-jo and Jong Tae-se in attack. (Editing by Michael Holden)
